At Golden Truffle Lagotto, we understand that while everyone loves a tiny puppy, not every lifestyle is suited for the intense demands of a 2-month-old’s upbringing. To meet the growing needs of our community, we have curated a selection of Young Adults.

Not Seniors, Just “Started”

It is important to note: We do not offer senior dogs. Our available adults are “teenagers” between 8 and 12 months of age. They are at the peak of their learning capacity, with their full adult personality starting to shine, while still possessing all the playful energy of a young dog.

Choosing a Lagotto that has already reached 8 to 12 months offers several key benefits for busy families or first-time owners:

• Predictable Size & Coat: At this age, there is no guesswork. You can see exactly what their adult coat looks like and their final physical stature.

• Established Temperament: We’ve spent months getting to know these dogs. We can tell you exactly if they are more laid-back, highly energetic, or naturally gifted for truffle hunting.

• Easier Transition: Most of our young adults have already begun basic obedience and socialization. They have better bladder control than a young puppy, making the “settling-in” period much smoother for you.

• Fewer “Puppy Blues”: You skip the teething phase and the sleepless nights, jumping straight into the fun activities like hiking, swimming, and long walks.

Every young adult Lagotto listed on this page has been raised with the same love and health standards as our younger puppies. They are:

1. Fully Vaccinated & Health Checked.

2. Socialized with children, other dogs, and various environments.

3. DNA Tested for breed-specific genetic conditions (LSD, JE, etc.).
